ALN presented its Third Annual Newport Financial Review. at the Public Library, 6:30 pm to 8 pm on September 28, 2009. There was a presentation by members of ALN's Financial Committee, Ron Becker, Fred Best and Mark Colborn with assistance from Sarah Highland. It included a discussion of financial developments in Newport over the past year and of what those developments portend for the City's future financial condition. The City's Fiscal Year 2010 Budget was highlighted.

Following the presentation, the audience asked questions and offered their viewpoints.
